Blind Carbon Copy

The blind Carbon Copy is when sending an e-mail; ‘Bcc’ is an option when entering an e-mail address where the recipient does now show who is on the message.

There are benefits towards bcc, reason why is when sending an e-mail you can send it without the main recipient realising you have sent the e-mail. Another way it helps is that with bcc it saves time because it is faster at sending e-mails rather than forwarding the sent messages to other recipients. It is custom to use bcc when copying an e-mail to many people, by doing this it will stop anybody else trying to keep your e-mail address for spamming reasons.
